  1. The core of this session of power yoga is acceptable with the usual vinyasas - sun salutations and warrior dance. Okay for beginners with knowledge of yoga, has an acceptable flow, although there is little here not seen in many other power yoga DVDs. Turner has a calm voice, gives some indications and signals and form. I would recommend a complete yoga novice, but may be fine for a first practice, the power of style, because the pace is slower than others. Each "element" DVD I've seen has been a worthwhile product. It bothered me when the introduction of Turner, she teaches "celebrities" and a "mind / body expert" to hold a master's degree in psychology. I switch the display of ego, thank you. His remarks, scattered throughout the practice (presumably evidence of this formidable mind and body techniques) were also lower than me. Anyway that asserts itself a mind / body expert just to prove that there is one. I want to video that teaches instructors without talking to your audience.

  2. I recently started practicing yoga again after stopping a few years ago and have been looking for something new to replace my old DVDs. I bought one of the DVD of another well-known yoga instructor and has found it very difficult and not for beginners / intermediate and it was announced. Ashley Turner Yoga for Weight Loss "was just what I was looking for. The postures and pace make for an excellent cardio and strength training principal, and then I feel relaxed and fulfilled. Ashley's voice is calm and encouraging and the instruction is clear and concise. I think it's very motivating and we hope more DVD of her notes. As for the reviewer who is bitter about the intro: I personally find it comforting to know I'm taking instruction from someone who is trained and it should be mandatory for all instructors to give their credentials in their products. * Smile *
